Personal Inventory Control (Jamroom Platform)
Brief Description
Need some custom work for a jamroom site. Non music website. This will be a jamroom platform. Will hire jamroom experience only. Referrals would help.
Detailed Description
A friend of mine wants me to help him launch a website for mainly individuals and maybe businesses. The website will be built upon a jamroom platform. I have been using jamroom now for about 5 years or more. I am familiar with all jamroom features and it's capabilities. I want to make this site very simple, to the point, nothing complicated. I myself will be doing a lot in this project. Almost every feature will be turned off for the user. Reminder this will not be a entertainment music, or video website. Not sure what skin this will be best for but here I go. I will explain it as simple as I know how. If you have questions please contact me. OK, the site will be focused on home inventory of personal individuals like you and I. Lets say you got some expensive products that mean a lot to you. Maybe a laptop, and expensive camera, something very valuable etc. I know myself, I don't write nothing down on paper or keep files of my household inventory as I mentioned. If they got stolen today I have no clue how to track them or find them. That's what I want this site to be based upon. Members can create an account,activate there account by email like any normal jamroom site does. After they have activated there account. They then can log in to there profile. Now we know how jamroom is setup based on create a song, create a video, create a blog, etc, etc in the artist control panel, but this want be artist. I will change artist to something else like client. OK instead of the client seeing the features I just talked about, I would like them to see in the cpanel as follow: "create inventory log" then once they click on that they would then see create item, modify item, delete item. Not sure how I would want subscriptions to be be set upon packages. Like subscription 1 create only 10 items, subscription 2 create only 20 items, or 3 create unlimited items. Or I even think we could have one plan, and that's unlimited for a 1 time a year price. Not sure if we need to build the form off of a blog form, or what. In the form entry it would need this as follow: Item name - item price - item serial number - item model number - item purchase date - item current value - item purchase place - item description and maybe some more additional fields. I want these variables to be search friendly on the site search box. In other words if some types a serial number in they can view that item. Also I want this site so that pawn shops and law enforcement can use this site to track stolen goods and know who they belong to. If you want to know more please contact me. So basically a simple site, client create an account, they then activate it via email, then log in upgrade from free to a premium subscription. After they have upgraded. Now they are looking inside there cpanel all I would like them to see is "create my inventory" then so on. Also the form needs to be able to show image. Also remember the site needs to be search friendly. Please recommend the best skin for me. Also I will add ideas to the site as we grow.
