Can Orkut Promotion bring results?

I have tried few social and bookmarking websites like stumbleupon and digg for promotion but not tried orkut yet. I have seen some guys selling ebooks about how to promote in orkut without the fear of spamming. Has anybody tried to promote his website or affliate link in orkut? If yes then how was your experience?

Stumble and dig both are seo friendlily site.but
Orkut only for relationship...
