Is there anyone who is presently earning money through Youtube Video traffic?

Can anyone share their thoughts on this?

I used to have a video mini site which got around 100 hits a day, the CTR was about 5% on a Google/YT video I had on the front page. PPC wasn't very high due to the video related keyword, about $5c p/click. I also found that they dont have that many video ads available in general but that was about a year ago, probably better by now ..

I have seen or heard many people say that youtube does bring traffic personally I'm testing one of my videos for it, But I have nothing to sell, but brings traffic.

I've got a video which has like +1xx views a week and it's increasing. At this stage I'm basically not earning any traffic from it, although I've promoted my website with the video. I think youtube is clearly not the best place for traffic.

I think MAKZ is right, I haven't heard anyone getting enough traffic through youtube. Even if someone is getting then also its not sufficient to increase his income, its really not the best place for traffic.

Personally I think YouTube is great if you have a video which is appealing or attractive in some way which will bring traffic to your site.. Like anything, it depends on how you present it.
